The complete Maple series of Snow, Ivory, Stucco, White and Bright has been created by RJ paper to bring you a wide range of subtle shades and textures. As a celebration of the complete RJ Maple series, five photographers were invited to interpret and present the notion of “completion” in five sections.

Ming contributes to this project with his document on the traditional steam cakes Huat Kueh. With modernisation, younger folks are getting less interested in these cakes which are primarily used for religious rites. The art of making Huat Kueh might be lost in the near future.
